Joel Bryant
was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, studied theatre at Pepperdine
University, and currently calls Los Angeles home. His resume includes
recent TV stints ("Las Vegas," "Monk," and "E-Ring"),
festival favorite films ("Gone, But Not Forgotten," "Long-Term
Relationship," "Souvenir" among others) and recent bigger-budget
fare ("Music Within" [Ron Livingston, Rebecca DeMornay, Hector
Elizondo] and "Baby Blues" [Ridge Canipe, Colleen Porch]). He's
done a slew of National Commercials and Industrials so chances are you've
bought something because of him. Stand-up comedy is one of his favorite
past-times and he is the co-founder (with his fiancee) of the award-winning
improv duo Composte
Comedy Heap (www.ComposteComedyHeap.com - check it out!). Anything
else about him can be Google'd, imdb'd, or Yahoo Searched.
This professional figure skater from the Arctic of Canada parlayed her strict physical discipline with absurd childhood to make her an award-winning improv/sketch comedian in both Canada and the US. In contrast to her wide range of film and tv characterizations, (from the bizarre to the ponderous) Deven is a bashful, generous girl albeit judgemental. With a penchance for the eclectic this bon vivant finds balance by altruistically sewing for kittens and breeding Sea Monkies. Inscrutable by nature, Deven's throng of fans will always be left wondering if she is truly that nefarious. Blessed with the honour of being "Phoenix," Akers and Berg's toughest task has been to ferociously keep Deven insulated from the real world. Deven is not blood-related to Tom Green.
